- Conférencière, aventurière, photographe, Solange découvre son goût de l'aventure et du risque au moment où certains pensent à leur retraite. Ses deux passions, la photographie et les exploits sportifs se conjuguent pour la réalisation de défis humanitaires. Elle en fait son choix de vie. C'est pourquoi elle parcourt le monde dans le but d'amasser des fonds pour différentes causes ou organismes qui lui tiennent à coeur. Après l'ascension du Mont Kilimandjaro (Tanzanie) et le Mont Elbrus (Russie), son prochain défi, en juillet 2009, sera la traversée du Canada en vélo (5,200 km) au profit de la Fondation des maladies du coeur.
